About Camp Sonshine
and Our Team

Glenn is the youth pastor at the International Evangelical Church of the Algarve. He is the founder of Camp Sonshine Portugal and on the Senior Leadership Team as one of our directors. With his vision and creativity, Glenn helps to make our summer camps such a great experience for the young people.

Katie is based in Northern Ireland and is on the Senior Leadership Team as our Administration Director. As part of her role, Katie processes all of our leaders coming from Europe and manages the charity aspect of Camp Sonshine Portugal. As part of the summer programme, Katie manages the daily administration of camp and is the main contact for parents.

Ross is based in Northern Ireland and is on the Senior Leadership Team as our Programme Director. Ross organises our fun filled programe including creative games, activities and assemblies for our campers. As part of his role, Ross trains our leaders ahead of their summer experience at Camp Sonshine Portugal.

Judith is our very own cook during all 3 weeks of camp. She works tirelessly in the kitchen with her team while everyone is enjoying themselves at the pool to provide healthy, delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Mark is the pastor of the International Church of the Algarve where camp is based. During Camp Sonshine Mark helps in any way he can, going to the shop to get water, food, giving lifts to Aquashow, and locking up the campsite at night time among many other things.

Isabel is our registration administrator for campers, and the lady you will be in contact with most during the application process. Isabel is based in Portugal, and speaks fluent English and Portuguese.
